In this 1 hour workshop you will create a solution of vitamin C, washing soda crystals. You will then soak plants (containing phenols) in this solution before placing them on to B&W photographic film and paper. This arrangement is then placed in outside in sunlight to expose. The photographic film is then fixed in photographic fixer, revealing an etheral print of the plant matter on the film.

What is a phytogram?

A phytogram is created by using the internal chemistry in plants and photographic mediums such as photographic film or paper.
