In this 1.5 hour workshop you will build your own pinhole camera from an every day container.
One you have built your camera, you will learn how to expose the light sensitive paper inside the pinhole camera, creating paper negatives.
You will be supplied a worksheet with a step by step guide, history of pinhole cameras and information about pinhole diameters.
Who is this session suitable for?
This session is suitable for beginners up.
What do I need to bring?
All materials are provided including a container to turn into a camera.
Feel free to bring your own container to turn into a camera. You must send me a photo ahead of the workshop so I can advise on its suitability. It must be light proof, such as a biscuit tin, coffee tin or box with removable lid.
Please note: If you wish to hire the darkroom for the day after this workshop then you will need your own box of paper to do so. See 'hire the darkroom' for more information.
